Do you install a new power outlet behind the TV?

Yes — this service includes installing a brand-new power outlet directly behind the TV so there are zero visible cables. The power cord plugs in right behind the TV.

What about my existing outlet below the TV?

Your existing outlet stays where it is. We add a new outlet behind the TV and route all cables through the wall between the two points, so nothing is visible.

Is the wall patched and cleaned up after?

Yes — any openings we make for cable routing are covered with a brush plate, so they look like a finished outlet rather than an open hole. The work area is left clean and everything looks professional.

Can this be done on any wall type?

In-wall cable routing works on most standard drywall. For brick, concrete, or certain pre-war plaster walls, in-wall isn't possible — we'd recommend a standard TV mounting ($149) instead. Send us a photo of your wall and we'll confirm the best approach.

How is this different from the power bridge option?

Our power bridge service ($349) routes cables through the wall using a two-plate kit — no new outlet needed, removable if you move, but drywall only. This in-wall service ($599) installs a brand-new power outlet behind the TV and runs all cables inside the wall — fully permanent and fully code-compliant. Choose in-wall if you own your place and want the cleanest possible result.

Can I add a soundbar or LED lights?

Yes — add soundbar mounting ($69) or LED backlighting ($49) to your booking. Both are installed in the same visit. Add them in the cart when you book online.

How high should the TV be mounted?

We recommend at least 42 inches from the floor to the TV center for standard seating, and 48-55 inches for bedrooms. Use our free TV mounting height calculator to get the exact measurement for your TV size and viewing distance.
