What counts as a 'small item'?

Anything under 49 inches — shelves, mirrors, floating shelves, PlayStation or Xbox consoles, Ring cameras, picture frames, clocks, small speakers, and similar items.

Can you mount a floating shelf?

Do I need to provide the mounting hardware?

We bring all standard mounting hardware — screws, anchors, toggle bolts, and wall fasteners. You just need to have the item ready to mount.

Can you mount a heavy mirror?

Can you mount items on plaster walls in a pre-war NYC apartment?

Yes — we mount on plaster walls regularly in pre-war NYC apartments. The result is just as secure as drywall.

How much does small item mounting cost?

Small item mounting is $25 per item. This includes all mounting hardware. Book online and set the quantity for your visit.

Can you mount a shelf and a TV in the same visit?

Yes — add TV mounting ($175) and small item mounting to the same booking. Our technician handles everything in one appointment. Most customers add shelves, soundbars, or artwork alongside their TV install.

Are you insured for work in NYC co-ops and condos?

Yes — NYC TV Guy carries general liability and umbrella insurance. If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before any wall work, we provide one on request. Just mention it when you book your appointment.
