What counts as a small item?

Shelves, mirrors, small artwork, clocks, speakers, cameras — anything under 49 inches that's currently mounted on your wall.

Is wall patching included?

Yes — we patch all screw holes with Dry-Dex spackle after removing each item. Dry-Dex goes on pink and turns white when dry, so you know it's ready.

Do you paint over the patched areas?

Dry-Dex dries white, which blends with most walls. If your walls are a different color, you may want to touch up the paint yourself to match.

Can I book dismounting and new mounting in the same visit?

Yes — just add both services to your booking. We'll take down the old items, patch the holes, and mount the new items all in one appointment. Add small item mounting to the same booking.

Is there a discount for multiple items?

How much does small item dismounting cost?

Small item dismounting is $35 per item. This includes removal and patching all holes with Dry-Dex spackle. Book online and set the quantity.

I'm moving out of my NYC apartment — can you remove everything?

Yes — book dismounting for each item that needs to come down. We'll remove everything, patch all holes with spackle, and leave the walls ready for your move-out inspection. For TVs, see our TV dismounting service ($175).

Do I need to be home?

Yes — someone needs to be home to let our technician in and confirm which items are being removed. The appointment is quick — about 15-20 minutes per item.
