What if I'm also remounting the TV?

If you're remounting your TV — whether in the same spot or a different room — don't select this service. Instead, select a TV mounting option and choose 'Yes' on the dismount question during booking. There's a $25 add-on to take down the old TV and remount at the new location. This service ($175) is only for taking the TV down without remounting.

Do you patch the holes left by the old mount?

Yes — we patch the screw holes from the old mount with DryDex spackling and smooth them flat. Larger holes like outlet cutouts or in-wall box openings are not covered. Ask your building super for touch-up paint.

What happens to the existing mount?

We remove both the TV and the wall bracket. Screw holes are patched with DryDex spackling.

Can you take down the TV and remount it in a different room?

Yes — just book a TV mounting service and select 'Yes' on the dismount question during booking. There's a $25 add-on to take down the old TV and remount at the new location. Don't select the standalone dismounting service — that's only for when you're NOT remounting.

I'm moving out — can you remove the TV and patch the wall?

Yes — if you're moving out of a NYC rental and need the TV down and the holes patched, we handle both. We remove the TV and bracket, then patch the mount holes with DryDex spackling so the wall looks clean for your building inspection. Our dismounting service starts at $175. Can you dismount a Samsung Frame TV?

Yes — we regularly dismount Samsung Frame TVs including disconnecting the One Connect box and patching the slim-fit mount holes. If you have brush plates or an in-wall box, we cap those off too. Check our Samsung Frame TV page for mounting options.

What tools do I need?

Nothing — our technician brings all the tools needed to safely remove your TV, remove the bracket (if requested), and patch the wall. Just make sure there's some clear space in front of the TV for us to work.
