Booking & Payment
- A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of service.
- A 3% card processing fee is applied to the total job price and included in your final invoice.
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancel before 9:00 AM ET the day before your appointment: Your full deposit will be automatically refunded to your card within 5–10 business days.
- Cancel after 9:00 AM ET the day before your appointment: Your deposit is non-refundable.
- We understand things come up — if you need to cancel late, we encourage you to reschedule instead.
Reschedule Policy
- Reschedule before 4:00 PM ET the day before your appointment: Free of charge.
- Reschedule after 4:00 PM ET the day before your appointment: A $25 late reschedule fee will be automatically charged to your card on file.
- You can reschedule your appointment from your booking details page (link provided in your confirmation text).
Final Invoice & Payment
- After your service is completed, you will receive a final invoice via text message and email.
- The invoice includes your remaining balance plus a 3% card processing fee calculated on the total job price.
- Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice.
- Additional charges (e.g., extra materials, scope changes) may be added to the final invoice.
Card on File
- Your payment card is securely saved during checkout for future charges (final invoice, late reschedule fees).
- Card information is stored by Stripe — NYC TV Guy never has access to your full card details.
Equipment Responsibility
- You are responsible for purchasing and having all required equipment (TV mount, cables, brackets, etc.) delivered before the day of your appointment.
- NYC TV Guy is not responsible for delays or rescheduling caused by missing equipment.
- If equipment is not available when we arrive, the appointment may need to be rescheduled under the terms above.
Communications Consent
- By booking, you consent to receive SMS and email communications including confirmations, reminders, and service notifications.
- You may opt out of promotional messages at any time. Transactional messages related to active bookings cannot be opted out of.
Service Disclaimers
- NYC TV Guy is not liable for pre-existing wall conditions, hidden wiring issues, or damage to walls not suitable for mounting.
- The customer is responsible for confirming wall type and stud availability. Additional charges may apply for alternative mounting solutions.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by defective products, manufacturer issues, or improper handling after installation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NYC TV Guy's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
