East Harlem — known as El Barrio — is a neighborhood of mid-century NYCHA public housing towers, pre-war tenement walk-ups, and an emerging crop of new residential buildings along the East River waterfront near 106th Street. The diversity of building types means every mounting job is different, and NYC TV Guy comes prepared for all of them.

East Harlem's NYCHA and Mitchell-Lama buildings have poured concrete structural systems that look like drywall once painted but require concrete anchors to mount into safely. We carry hammer drills and Tapcon anchors on every truck and can handle concrete walls at the same flat rate as any other job — no upcharge for concrete.
The pre-war tenement buildings on the numbered streets between Park and Second Avenues have thin plaster walls and tight layouts. We are efficient in these spaces and keep our footprint small. Customers who live in walk-up buildings pay the same price as anyone else — no elevator is never an upcharge for us.
East Harlem has a strong community identity and we take pride in offering the same professional service here as we do in any other Manhattan neighborhood. Flat-rate pricing, insured technicians, and a clean finish every time.
