A Leon Oak-Framed TV and Matching Soundbar in a Manhattan High-Rise

The client wanted the TV in their bright Manhattan living room to look like part of the room, not a black box on the wall. NYC TV Guy mounted the TV inside a light-oak Leon frame, ran its power inside the wall, and hung a matching Leon soundbar right below it, so the screen and the speaker read as one framed piece.

A TV that should look like art in a bright Manhattan high-rise

The Manhattan living room has tall windows, a wide city view and soft cream furniture. The client wanted the TV to hang like a framed picture, with the sound right under it.

This apartment sits high above the city, with tall windows on two sides and soft cream sofas facing the wall. A plain black TV would have been the darkest, hardest thing in the room. The client wanted the screen to look like a framed picture, with the speaker sitting neatly under it.

A light-oak Leon frame, power inside the wall, and a matching Leon soundbar

The crew mounted the TV inside a light-oak Leon frame and ran its power inside the wall with a power bridge kit. Below it they hung a Leon soundbar in the same oak, the same width as the frame.

The crew mounted the TV inside a light-oak Leon frame, so a band of warm wood runs around the whole screen. A power bridge kit (two wall plates joined by a cable inside the wall) carries the TV's power behind the drywall, so no cord hangs down from the screen. Right below it they hung a Leon soundbar in the same oak, with a light fabric front. The bar lines up with the width of the frame, so the two pieces read as one.

When the TV rests, the frame shows artwork. When a film plays, the sound comes from the oak soundbar under the screen.

When nobody is watching, the screen shows artwork inside the oak frame and the wall looks like a gallery wall. When a film plays, the picture fills the frame and the sound comes from the matching bar below. The light oak picks up the warm wood already in the room.

Sebastian and Josie were absolute professionals and gentlemen. Josue arranged the appointment and kept on top of scheduling. It was seamless and the work was done the next day. Sebastian was a superstar. My TV had already been mounted but there were wires all over the place which were driving me crazy. He practically made the wire’s disappear. He then put my Roku behind the TV and connected the sound bar. He said I didn’t really need cable box bc Spectrum has streaming. I’m saving 40 dollars a month now. I have a hearing impediment and Sebastian set up my phone with Roku app so that I can now listen to sound with earbuds. The sound bar is awesome. No complaints from neighbors about noise now. I had 4 different remotes now I only need one. I’m no longer confused about operating the system. I was so lucky to have found TV Guys. I’d give them a six bit rating only goes up to 5🙂

The tv mounting was fantastic from start to finish. They got the job done the next day. My co-op has burdensome insurance and liability requirements which Josue handled like a champ. And Stephen, the installer was sublime. My concrete wall was a bear. He did a meticulous s job and left my apartment cleaner than when he came. I highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience from beginning to end! Cristian, the sales representative, was professional, friendly, and made the entire process simple and stress-free. He clearly explained everything and made sure I received exactly what I needed. Alejandro, the technician, did an amazing job mounting two TVs in my home. He arrived on time, worked carefully and efficiently, and made sure both TVs were perfectly positioned, level, and securely installed.
