Cable Management Solutions & Recommendations
Jun 26, 2024
There are two ways we manage cables; we can either cover them in a cable track or pass through the wall on the inside (drywall only).
Please see below for both option and the required purchases. For any questions, contact us
I don't want cable management at this time/ I will do it myself ($0).
Cover cables in a track along the wall
The cables are covered with a track that sticks to the wall.
Taking off the track is easy, we use a non peeling tape to protect your paint.
If there is any difficulty removing the track simply using hot air from a blow drier will help the track come off easily.
Pass cables through the wall (drywall only)
Two holes are made, one behind the tv and once close to the nearest outlet.
A surge protector (for extra protection) is passed from the outlet (through the wall) to the back of the tv where the TV and other devices can be connected for power.
All the HDMI Cables are also passed through the wall
Holes are covered with brush plates (see image below)
If you're worried about patching up your walls, we can patch the wall up when you're ready to move. If you have the matching paint & a paint roller, we can paint over the patch too
Materials Required
We recommend 10ft Cables, just to make sure the cables are long enough, Better to be too long than too short.
We also recommend getting extra HDMI cable just in case you want to connect something else later, so you don't have to go through sorting the cables yourself.
