The client was choosing between an 85-inch and a 98-inch TV and wanted it mounted child-safe, with its center at eye level. The wall had metal studs and a sprinkler pipe near the top.

The client was getting ready to buy a TV and was torn between an 85-inch and a 98-inch, leaning toward the 98. He wanted it mounted child-safe for the future, with the center at eye level, about twelve feet from the couch. The wall in his condo is drywall over metal studs, and a sprinkler sits near the top of it, so he asked whether it was safer to peek inside the wall first.

### The answers: metal studs are plenty for it, an in-wall camera checks the wall, and a tilt mount sits close

We told the client a 98-inch TV was possible, that metal studs are plenty strong for it, and that an in-wall camera checks for pipes. We recommended a Sanus tilting mount that stays close to the wall.

Our answers were simple. A 98-inch TV is definitely possible, and the metal studs are more than enough to hold it. For the sprinkler pipe, we check inside the wall with an in-wall camera. It stays level when pulled out, where other mounts often sag under the weight of the TV.

### The very large TV goes up level and low on the wall
