# Two Samsung Frame Pro TVs With Recessed Outlets and Sonos Soundbars in a Midtown Rental

**Area:** Manhattan
**Services:** TV Mounting

A couple in a new Midtown rental wanted two Samsung Frame Pro TVs with no wires showing and as little wall repair as possible later. The crew fitted recessed outlets, hung both Frames flush and put a Sonos soundbar under each.

## The Story

### Two Frame Pros for a rental, and no wires allowed

The client had a 65-inch and a 55-inch Samsung Frame Pro, a Sonos Arc Ultra and a Sonos Beam, and wanted the wires hidden with the least repair needed when the lease ends.

The client and his wife had just moved into a high-floor rental in Midtown, with bare cream walls under dark crown moulding. They bought a 65-inch and a 55-inch Samsung Frame Pro, plus a Sonos Arc Ultra for the living room and a Sonos Beam for the bedroom. As renters they did not want a box behind the TVs, but they did want the wires gone. The team recommended a recessed outlet behind each TV, so the Frame plugs in out of sight while its wireless One Connect box sits away from the wall. They were leaving town two days after the visit, so both TVs had to go up in one day.

### Recessed outlets in drywall over metal studs

Two technicians cut in two recessed outlets, fixed the slim wall plates and soundbar brackets, and checked every piece with a level.

The walls are drywall over metal studs. Two technicians set a recessed outlet into each wall where a Frame would hang, so the plug sits inside the wall and the TV can hang flat. They fixed the slim Frame wall plates above and the soundbar brackets below, and ran the first TV's cable through a stud. Levels went on every plate, screen and soundbar.

### Both Frames flush on the wall, a Sonos soundbar under each

Both Frame Pros now hang flush with a soundbar under each, and in the bedroom a power bridge kit kept the TV centred on the wall.

In the living room the 65-inch Frame Pro hangs flush above a black textured cabinet with the Sonos Arc Ultra under it and no cables in sight. In the bedroom, a recessed outlet would have pushed the TV off centre, so the client chose a power bridge kit instead and kept the screen centred. That Frame now shows a forest painting above its Sonos Beam, looking more like a framed picture than a TV.
