A Midtown Manhattan office wanted background music in every corner, so the crew mounted six Sonos Era 100 speakers high on the walls and set each one up.

## The Story

### Sound for an open office with glass walls and exposed pipes

The office had its own Sonos Era 100 speakers and wanted them mounted around the space at points it had chosen.

The office, on a high floor in Midtown, has glass partitions, exposed ceiling pipes and white walls. The client already had the Sonos Era 100 speakers and had picked the spots where each one should go. The aim was even sound across the room without speakers sitting on desks.

### Six speakers up near the ceiling and each one set up

The speakers went up on wall brackets near the ceiling, beside the windows and above the glass walls, and each was set up after mounting.

The technician mounted the speakers high on the walls, close to the ceiling, where they stay out of the way. One sits beside a window, another above a glass partition next to its outlet, another near the exposed pipes. Each speaker was then set up so the office can play music across the space.
