# Two Frame TVs in Art Mode, Mounted in a Manhattan Apartment

**Area:** Manhattan
**Services:** TV Mounting

The client wanted two Samsung Frame TVs on the walls of a Manhattan apartment with no wires showing. The crew set a One Connect box and a new outlet into the wall behind each screen and hung both Frames flat and level.

## The Story

### Two Samsung Frames for two rooms, with no wires showing

The client wanted a 75-inch and a 65-inch Samsung Frame TV on the walls of two rooms in a Manhattan apartment. Both walls are drywall with the power outlet set high, and the client did not want to see a single wire.

The client called about two Samsung Frame TVs for a Manhattan apartment, a 75-inch and a 65-inch, one for each room. The client wanted them on the wall with no wires in sight. Both outlets sat high on the wall, and both walls are drywall. The crew planned to set the One Connect box into the wall behind each TV and add a new outlet there, so the TV and the box share one clean spot. The client also wondered whether a wireless Frame would avoid opening the wall. It would not, because the TV still needs power, so the plan stayed the same. The building asked contractors for insurance paperwork, and the visit was planned around that.

### Cutting into the drywall to hide the One Connect box

On Wednesday the crew cut a recess into the drywall behind each TV, wired a new outlet inside it and fixed the mount above.

On Wednesday the crew, with an electrician, started behind the screens. They cut a neat recess into the drywall and set up a box with a new outlet, so the TV and its One Connect box could plug in without a cable crossing the wall. The mounting brackets went on just above the recess. Before each TV was left in place, the crew held a level on its top edge to be sure it hung straight.

### Two Frame TVs hang flat, with nothing to see below them

Both Frame TVs now sit flat and close to the wall, one with a black frame and one with a wood-tone frame. The only things below each screen are a cable plate and an outlet.

By the end of the visit both Frames were up and switched on. One was already showing a sea and sand picture in art mode, the way a Frame looks when it is not a TV. From the side, each screen sits snug against the wall. Below each one is only a cable plate and an outlet, which is exactly what the client asked for.
