# Two Framed Pictures Hung in One Visit on a Concrete Wall in Manhattan

**Area:** Manhattan
**Services:** TV Mounting

The client had two framed pictures to hang in Manhattan, and one wall was concrete. The crew came on a weekday afternoon, timed around a baby's nap, and set a large beach print and a pink watercolor level on the wall.

## The Story

### Two pictures to hang, a concrete wall to drill, and a baby asleep in the room

The client wanted two framed pictures hung, and at least one wall was concrete. The visit had to fit a building that allows weekday work only, and a baby's nap in the room.

The client reached out for two framed pictures to hang. At least one of the walls was concrete, so the job meant drilling, work the crew had already done for this client before. The building does not allow weekend work, so the visit was set for a Friday afternoon. The baby sleeps in the room where the pictures go, so the visit was timed around her nap.

### Setting each frame straight with a level

On the day, the crew checked each frame with a spirit level before moving to the next wall.

On Friday afternoon the crew hung the first picture and checked it with a spirit level resting on the top edge of the frame. The level also sat on a ledge against the cream wall while the crew measured and marked the next spot.

### A beach print and a pink watercolor, both hanging straight

Both pictures were up and level by late afternoon: a large white-framed beach photograph and a pink-framed abstract watercolor.

A large white-framed aerial beach photograph now hangs on a cream wall. A pink-framed abstract watercolor hangs on a white wall. Both sit straight.
