# An 85-Inch and a 65-Inch TV With the Wires Hidden Inside the Wall, NoHo

On Bleecker Street, the client's new 85-inch and 65-inch TVs went up on clean white walls with the wires run inside the drywall, and a soundbar under the big screen.

## The Story

### Two new TVs and a wish for no wires

The client had an 85-inch and a 65-inch TV on order, already had the mounts, and wanted the wires hidden on both.

The client was setting up an apartment on Bleecker Street with two new TVs on the way, an 85-inch and a 65-inch. She already had the mounts and wanted the wires hidden, ideally inside the wall. She also had a soundbar for one of them. The installation was set for once the TVs had arrived.

### Tape on the wall, then the cables go inside

Two technicians marked the positions with tape, then mounted both TVs and ran the cables inside the drywall with power bridge kits.

On a bare white wall, the crew set out the TV and soundbar positions with blue tape before drilling. Power bridge kits carry each TV's power and HDMI inside the drywall, so the cables vanish behind the screens. Levels on the soundbar and along the top of the screens confirmed everything was straight.

### Two clean white walls, nothing hanging below either screen

The 85-inch TV now hangs over its soundbar on a clean white wall, and the 65-inch TV hangs in the next room with no cables below it.

The 85-inch TV hangs centred on the living room wall with the soundbar just below it and not a cable in sight. The 65-inch TV went up in the next room the same way. Both walls look as clean as they did before the crew arrived, just with a TV on them.
