# An 83-Inch LG G6 Mounted Flat Over a Recessed Outlet in a Manhattan Apartment

**Area:** Manhattan
**Services:** TV Mounting

An 83-inch LG G6 sat lower than the soundbar console in a Manhattan apartment. Our crew moved it up, and a recessed outlet behind it lets the slim mount sit flat on the wall.

## The Story

### An 83-inch LG G6 hanging lower than the soundbar console in a Manhattan living room

The client's new 83-inch LG G6 OLED was on the wall, but it sat lower than the soundbar console and needed to move up a few inches.

The client's 83-inch LG G6 OLED was already on the wall. The console with the soundbar stood too tall, so the TV read lower than the soundbar. The client asked for the TV to be moved up a couple of inches.

### A recessed outlet so the slim LG mount can sit flat on an older building's wall

Moving the TV was the moment to change the outlet behind it. A recessed outlet lets the slim LG mount sit flat, and the client chose it.

The LG G6 comes with a super slim mount. With a regular outlet behind it, the plug presses on the TV and keeps it off the wall. The client, in an older building where the cables could not go inside the wall, chose the recessed outlet so the TV would sit flat.

### The LG G6 moves up on a new plate and a recessed outlet goes in behind it

Two technicians moved the 83-inch LG G6 up and fixed the mount plate above a recessed outlet box. The TV now hangs level over the soundbar.

On the wall, the crew fixed the LG mounting plate higher, above the recessed outlet box. They checked power at the outlet with a tester, checked the top and bottom edges with a level, and hung the TV. It now sits close to the wall over the soundbar.
