# A 65-Inch TV Mounted Flat on a Manhattan Wall, With the Cord Under a White Cover

**Area:** Manhattan
**Services:** TV Mounting

A Manhattan client wanted a 65-inch TV on the wall with the wires out of sight, but without cutting into the wall. Our technician Stephen mounted it flat and ran a white cord cover straight down to the console.

## The Story

### A 65-inch TV, and wires the client would rather not see

The client wanted a 65-inch TV on the wall and the wires out of sight, as long as nothing had to be cut into the wall.

The client had a 65-inch TV and wanted it up on the wall. The wires were the worry: the client would rather not see them, but did not want anyone cutting into the wall to hide them.

### A flat mount close to the wall and a cord cover instead of an in-wall cut

We suggested a flat mount that sits about an inch and a half off the wall and a cord cover that hides the wires on the surface. The client chose both and lined up a helper for the lift.

A flat mount keeps a 65-inch TV close to the wall, and a cord cover hides the wires without opening the wall. The client picked both. A TV this size is easier with a second pair of hands, and the client's daughter was ready to help the technician lift it.

### The TV goes up flat, with a white cord cover running straight down

On Friday afternoon, October 16, Stephen mounted the TV flat on the wall and finished it with a cord cover running down to the console.

On Friday afternoon Stephen mounted the TV and laid a small level across the top to check it. The screen hangs flat above a black media console, and a white cord cover carries the cable straight down so the wall stays whole.
