# A 55-Inch TV Mounted Flat on a Brooklyn Apartment Wall, Cord Tucked Under a Cover

**Area:** Brooklyn
**Services:** TV Mounting

A Brooklyn client came to us on a friend's recommendation with a 55-inch TV and a cord cover of her own. Our technician Stephen mounted the TV flat to the wall on a flat mount, checked it with a level and ran the cord down to the outlet.

## The Story

### A friend's recommendation and a 55-inch TV in Brooklyn that needs its cord hidden

A friend sent the client our way. She had a 55-inch TV and cord covers and wanted the cord concealed, then chose a flat mount so the TV would sit close to the wall.

The client had heard from a friend that NYC TV Guy does great work, so she reached out about mounting her TV in her Brooklyn apartment. The TV is 55 inches. She wanted the cord concealed and already had cord covers. She first thought she had a mount of her own, then asked which one to buy and picked our flat mount, which sits about an inch and a half off the wall with a slight tilt.

### Friday afternoon is set, with the wall due for fresh paint that morning

The client chose Friday afternoon. The day before, the building said the wall would be repainted that morning, and we told her the TV could go up as soon as the wall was ready and dry.

The client picked a Friday afternoon visit. The day before, her building's superintendent told her the walls would be repainted again that morning and would take about an hour to dry. We told her that if the wall was ready and dry, mounting the TV would be no problem.

### The 55-inch TV goes up flat on the wall, level, with a white cord cover down to the outlet

The client kept the Friday visit. Stephen mounted the 55-inch TV flat to the wall, checked it with a level and ran the cord down a white cover to the outlet.

The client kept the original Friday visit. Stephen mounted the 55-inch TV flat to the wall and set a small level on top to check it. The cord runs straight down the wall under a white cover to the outlet, so the plain wall stays clean.
